Children and Youth

St. Andrew’s is a kid-friendly zone.

Jesus said, “Let the children come to me,” so we do.

Children are encouraged to stay in the sanctuary during service, sit on front and participate. Joyful noises and giggles are welcome! Each week there is a children’s message for our young worshippers, and activity bags and a children’s bulletin are available for their use.

Older youth and teens are encouraged to assist in worship as greeters, ushers and acolytes, as readers of the weekly Bible lessons, and as members of the choir. We also invite our youth to share their artistic gifts in worship through musical contributions and liturgical dance.

In company with the other churches of our denomination, Saint Andrew’s has adopted a Safe Sanctuaries policy aimed at providing a safe environment for our children and youth.

Sunday School

From mid-September through mid-June, we offer Sunday school the second, third, and fourth Sundays of the month at 10 am. Children are invited to class right after the children message. First Sundays of the month, we encourage families to come and worship together.
