If you join us on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. – and we hope you will – here are a few words as to what you can expect.
Worship
Our Sunday service follows the United Methodist pattern of hymns, prayers, Scripture readings and sermon. From Sunday to Sunday, you will hear a mix of the traditional hymns of our faith and more contemporary hymn selections.
Dress as you are comfortable
You will see a mix of styles: some people in suits or dresses, and others wearing more casual clothing. Please dress with your personal comfort in mind.
Holy Communion
Communion, also called a “Service of Word and Table,” is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. In keeping with United Methodist practices, all are welcome to participate. Children are also welcome to take part, at the discretion of the adults who accompany them.
Hospitality
We invite you to join us for coffee, conversation and a light snack after the service in our hall just outside the Sanctuary.
Sunday School
Sunday School classes for children are offered every second, third, and fourth Sunday of the month at 10 a.m. Everyone is welcome. Nursery available for children under 4.
